I made it through the ice storm. Lost power twice, then lost Internet since yesterday. There is about 2" of ice on the ground. Lots of trees and power lines down. Lots of people still without electricity since 2 days ago. I'm grateful it wasn't worse here. Tonight the temp drops down to 7*. Pray I don't have any busted water lines.
I heard that moving water much less likely to freeze. Whenever we were concerned with that, we let water in the house drip, drip, drip.
