Why Did God Close the Way to the Tree of Life? 🌿🔥

When God shut the way to the Tree of Life, it was not an act of cruelty — it was an act of mercy.
Sin had entered the world. Death had begun its work. And if fallen man had eaten from the Tree of Life in that condition, humanity would have been locked forever in corruption, separation, and spiritual death.
So God intervened.

God did not close the way to life to destroy man —
He closed it to save him.

That death was separation from God.
If man had eaten from the Tree of Life in that fallen state, he would have lived forever cut off from God, with no hope of restoration.
So God placed cherubim and a flaming sword — not to torment man, but to preserve the plan of redemption.

Death Became a Temporary Pause — Not the Final Word
Because the Tree of Life was closed, something greater could later be opened.
Death became temporary.
Redemption became possible.
Resurrection became the goal.
