Despite Prime Minister Mark Carney’s initial exclusion from U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza post-war oversight board, Canada “stands ready” to help with the transitional government replacing the territory’s current terrorist rulers.

Anonymous officials reportedly informed The Times of Israel that six countries committed to joining Trump’s “Board of Peace,” outlined in the American president’s peace plan for Gaza. The report claimed the U.S. secured commitments from Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Italy and Germany, but Canada was noticeably absent.
