What value do human rights still hold in the EU?
With the unanimous support of its member states, the EU has stripped dozens of citizens of their civil rights simply for criticizing its policies toward Ukraine. This occurred without warning, without any form of due process, and without any objective justification.
Those affected have no legal recourse because they have not broken any law. "This is appalling," says German MEP Michael von der Schulenburg, who has investigated the matter thoroughly. "These people have been declared outlaws. We are returning to the Middle Ages."
