BREAKING: The capital city of Alaska has been getting absolutely smoked by record setting snowfall since New Years eve.

While the final frontier is no stranger to snow, the rate in which this snowfall fell was truly unprecedented. 80+ inches has already fallen with another 1ft of additional accumulated on January 5th and additional 30 inches could come across the next week and a half as the weight of snow sinks boats in the Juneau Harbor and volunteers and crews are brought in from around the state to help with relief efforts and to help prevent more boats from sinking and causing even more oil issues into the ocean that has already been occurring.
