Mamdani may find out he's come to the wrong place. New Yorkers are tough and they like the opportunity that the great City offers. Socialism will be hard for these independently-minded New Yorkers; at first, some will try to take advantage of the freebies but that will only last so long. I predict Mamdani will land on his ass.
