How about a COLA (cost of living) amount that actually addresses the cost of living? As an example my BIG COLA amount "increase" resulted in the big amount of $72/ month after taxes, Medicare part B and D premiums and the rip off IRMAA because we are still working some ( and paying in to SS) to try to afford things like food, utilities ( they went up more than the COLA amount!). 😡
