Christmas has absolutely nothing to do with the birth of Yeshua. The very first Christians were Jews. They did as Yeshua did, said & taught who was also a Jew, the most Jewish Jew to walk the Earth & taught from the old testament. He followed the commandments & taught to do so. Constantine made it illegal to Judaize anything & punishable by death. He didn't accept Christianity, he paganized it with pagan celebrations. This is the main reason most Jews don't know Yeshua, but neither do most Catholics. God created the feast days to point to Yeshua but they were looking for an earthly king to save them from the Roman occupation, just like most are looking for an earthly king to save them. Only Yeshua Saves

One thing I have learned, is that reading the Bible with an understanding of the historical context in mind is imperative. Also who the writer is like Paul for instance, and who the audience is as well. If it is Jesus' words, understanding that He is speaking to Jewish people under the law and He Himself is a Jewish man living under the law. Jesus often berated the Jewish leaders for imposing more laws upon the people and yet not upholding them for themselves. He knew He came to expose all the corruption and what He had to do to usher in the New Covenant of Grace. He had to be the spotless sacrificial Lamb. He had to be born sinless to be that Sacrificial Lamb. So His birth is to be celebrated IMO with that in mind. In an attitude of gratitude for the New Covenant of Grace in which we live. 😙

I believe, It is best understood folliwing what Jesus Himself did and taught. The Feast Days were created by God to point to Jesus. He is the fulfillment of prophecy as are the feast days the perfect fulfillment of His first and second coming. The church does not teach that.bit should.

I agree, I have found that scripture supports scripture to reveal the truth. The prophesies are truly amazing. I think too many people are led astray by church leadership teaching on verses taken out of context and out of the historical context as well. 😇

John 14:15-17
15 “If you love me, you will obey my commandments. 16 I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper who will be with you forever. 17 That helper is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept him, because it doesn’t see or know him. You know him, because he lives with you and will be in you.

Matthew 5:18
King James Version
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

"Not one jot or tittle" refers to the idea that not even the smallest detail of the law will be changed or removed until everything is fulfilled, as stated in Matthew 5:18 of the Bible. This emphasizes the importance and permanence of the law in religious teachings.

Not all has been fulfilled yet. About 15% more to go.
