In one of my State's cities, I hear Police are not even responding to Shoplifting amounting to less than $1000. WTH?
What small business can survive that?

Brandy IT'S DISGUSTING.
I had SERVICE businesses, but burglary was ALWAYS a concern. Back in those days, we had GREAT Police protection. I lived 4 minutes from my shops, when the Alarm went off, I met the Cops there at the edge of the Property same time, so response times to an ALARM was 4 minutes. (It was always a cat or bird! 😂) I knew all our Police officers. Once crooks stole my Dad's truck, and they found it within 20 minutes parked in the back of a local hotel (waiting for heat to dissipate)! Was great!
NOW, my wife was at the health store. 2 guys come in. Put $950 worth of stuff in 1 cart each AND WALK OUT! Employees screaming at them and the Robbers say, "We gotta eat, too!" They stole supplements! No Police response! (My wife was armed, but glad she didn't intervene - Police wouldn't have come!)
I have a temper.
I probably woulda smashed into their getaway car/van with my truck and pinned it in the parking lot. PRIVATE PROPERTY. Cops can't write tickets. OOPS! SUE ME!

A "Law" without enforcement is nothing but ink on paper.
Common Law, which is coming to America, is very simple.
IF THERE IS A VICTIM, SOMEONE HARMED IN ANY WAY - IT'S A CRIME.
IF THERE IS NO VICTIM, THEN THERE IS NO CRIME.
This will be applied to EVERYTHING.
From driving to shoplifting to religions.
If you drive 120 MPH down the highway, no problemo...UNLESS...you get in a wreck and hurt someone somehow, even just damaging their car...then there's a CRIME.
Don't harm anyone - NO CRIME.
Crime under Common Law REQUIRES a Victim.
This is why Satanism WILL be outlawed, because Satanist MUST HARM PEOPLE OR ANIMALS to practice their Religion.
Harm ANYONE (or animals - that's why President/CIC Trump's EO on Animal Cruelty) and GO TO PRISON or even the Gallows.
