type swing music.
Did not meet these guys…
However, the scene was
a fun vibe down in Ft Lauderdale.
Now I am curious too Texas.
Love all partner dancing , nothing gets me moving like rockabilly :)
Unfortunately most if not all dancers up here got the jab and could not go to dances without proof.
Longing for an un-jabbed dance partner ! I saw the Cherry Poppin Daddies before they went swing at Northern Exposure wrap parties :) fabulous then and after the change of style.

There was a place in
Ft Lauderdale called Manray’s
that we would take
Lindy Hop dance lessons.
My amazing dance partner was
a musician affiliated with that music.
He introduced
Cherry Poopin Daddy’s and
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy dance moves too.
