I only share this because my late wife was a huge Tom Hardy fan.. there was a show that he starred in years ago that I can't remember the name of It but was great but they never made a second season. It was about ordinary Englishmen fighting against the church of England. They were fixing to leave for America to get away from the king and the church. It was the definition of tyrannical government over reach and why they were fighting for freedom and a better life.
Does anyone remember that Series?
