We keep tablets of this in our backpacks when we are hiking, just in case we need to purify water from a stream in the case of getting lost or injured and needed water. We keep some at home as well to purify water in an emergency. If we come down with a "cold" we can use it for that as well. The liquid is faster to use, the tablets take awhile to purify the water and to use as a medication. 😇
