Anyone know about Top Hats? I just found my Great Grandfather's Top Hat. My oldest said they contain Mercury and that was how the coin phrase Mad as a hatter came about??? Anyone know about them? I will have to do some research, I will try to take a pic.

Inquiring minds do want to know. Hoping the truth about the 1800's comes out and we know it's the real truth. I'm just fascinated with all i have found that makes you think and ask questions (i.e. Worlds Fairs, buidlings built by an advanced people, asylums and the re-populations, it just goes on and on!
