There are many times when I become concerned about the future. Such as will I have enough funds to cover my expenses this month? How will I pay for something that needs to be repaired or replaced? Here is a scripture that brings comfort and strength to me about these "maybe's" -
Matthew 6th chapter:
Jesus spoke to the people: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?"
Whenever it seems that I have come to a dead end in life - suddenly a path appears that I never even knew was there. I have come through many trials that looked like the end - and still I am here.
