It was well known, amongst the officer's staff at least, that the *unmarried base commander* of the Sacramento Ca, SAC base (Mather AFB) at which my dad was stationed for two years from **57-60** had a 15 yo live-in Philippine 'house boy' as he was euphemistically known at the time.
Said unmarried base commander would host men only (no wives invited) Sat night parties at his house. I got this info from my mother decades later. Apparently my dad attended two times and for 'some' reason didn't go again.
Now a SAC base was a prestigious career advancing stepping stone assignment for a relatively young AF Major and veteran WWII bomber pilot like my dad. He was, however, as it turned out, soon transferred to an absolutely career killing dead-end position as head of the ROTC program at quite liberal Washington University in St Louis Mo.
Streams of acute moral decadence have flowed through the highest ranks of the AF for DECADES.
