🫡🫡After being severely wounded in Afghanistan, my first thoughts was of the men around me if I surrendered to my fear. Getting past the initial pain was the easy part but then I figured out that, nothing could happen to me that had not happened to all men in this situation before me. Whatever I had to do men had always done before. If they had done it then I could do it too and the best thing was not to worry about it happening again. Courage to go back into the situation is the goal.
