Same in NY. Car insurance, rent, food, gas, laundromat, parking meters, utilities..every day, every month the same thing. Please do not mistake this for complaining. It is just hard to hear how things are economically better when in reality, for so many of us across the country, they are not; not at all.
Let me share that I drive a used car that is 23 years old with close to 200,000 miles on it and am grateful every day that with every noise and with every old part, it still gets me around locally. No long drives, just local. I've had it so many years. I am thankful.
Why I bring this up is because the insurance is insane for it while at the same time we get to watch illegals driving the newest, biggest vehicles and they have more than one; car after car! Chinese folk and muslims here have so many cars! Very expensive vehicles! I just don't understand. How do they afford the insurance AND the car payments?
The struggle here is real. Thank you for bringing this up.
