The explanation I once read, we have God the father no question about that. Then when God created creation his son is actually God's intelligence within creation and the holy spirit is the energy supporting creation. So everything in creation is filled with God's intelligence through the holy spirit supporting everything. When a painter creates a painting or sculpture we don't say the creation is the artist, we say this is a creation of the artist. It also has been said time and time again that God is outside of creation, untouchable.
