A note:
I am getting dropped left and right "out there" in the system.
Doesn't matter my actions or intentions.
It's been going on since May.
Just this week here is what I have experienced:
1) Was to meet with a woman from local agency - online - 3pm today. Sign documents to get going on a program to help with job placement, training, etc. I receive a message from her at 1:15pm: "I waited for 15 minutes and had to leave." I took a screenshot of her message she sent last week - showing the time was indeed 3pm and I didn't miss a thing.
2) Signed up for another program to do the same - only this one will provide me with a job coach. I did this over 3 weeks ago and was told it would be 1-2 weeks out before I heard back. I emailed earlier this week and asked for a status update. Budget cuts and staff layoffs have pushed out that 1-2 weeks and they are "doing the best they can". I said I'm on a timeline crunch here can you give me an estimate wait?
3) Person#3 who passed along paperwork for a scholarship program - over 3 weeks ago. She was supposed to send me paperwork to sign, find me someone in the field in which to interview and check in last Thursday. She failed to do ANY of this. I emailed her, texted, left a voice mail - NADA. So I contacted her supervisor who said she would "give her a nudge". This is a time sensitive issue here.
So just a heads up for those who are struggling seeking help on here - those who say go out into the system for help need to zip it. Do the right thing instead. Be that Warrior of Love and ask. what. they. need.
