I avoid all processed foods. I am blessed to have a Butcher shop near me that sells beef (all grass fed and local), fresh fruit and veggies from local farms, whole milk with the cream in it (from local dairy farms), whole hog sausage made by the butcher himself, whole chickens never frozen from local farms. And so much more. No more processed foods for me, thank you.

I do look all the time and I do notice, even in my local grocery bakery items… and sometimes I say random stuff out loud for others to kind of overhear. “What is a bioengineered ingredient? Well I guess I am not eating this anymore either.” Then I put the item back. If I am really feisty, I pick up an item I already know says that, and I do the same. 😎
