What Constantine did IMO was simply overlay that satanic "Phoenician" religion that overtook Rome after the fall of the Roman Republic (the Cartheginians who were child-sacrificers actually took control of Rome after the fall of Carthage, IMO, so Carthage wasn't truly destroyed) and those true Christians at the time who REFUSED this bogus assimilation were surely exterminated, leaving only "Christians" that accepted (out of FEAR of persecution) and worshiped within the new "guidelines" that Constantine put in motion during the The First Council of Nicaea in 325AD and many "councils" thereafter.
Constantine was a DEMON, and his pagan satanic sun-worshipping faith remained intact, only disguised.

It would do people well to learn the facts before opining. As I understood it when evangelising the gospel and Christianity, the quickest way to convert the 'pagans' was to co-opt their sacred days and make them Christian holy days. The Spaniards did the same when conquering the new world and its people, They encouraged their foot soldiers to take wives from the native population and convert them to Christian and Spanish ways . Fastest way to create new Spaniards in the new world was to make families with them.
