2Ths2:1-12 applies directly to this 'power' and it's human minions, as well as mankind in general, in the days to come
Is it even conceivable the devil and his human 'elite' earthly powers are immune from the 'strong delusions' God can send?

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

They may 'think' they have technology, abilities and control 'beyond our wildest dreams' but which are, in a very real sense, completely fake and of no consequence outside the realms of this earth.
Impressive 'phenomena' (like the Pharoah's magicians were capable of 'performing') by which they fool themselves and all those who turn their back on the One who IS in control.
