In China in WWII, Doolittle's Raiders crash-landed on the Chinese Coast after bombing Tokyo.
The Chinese people protected them all, not losing 1 to the Imperial Japanese by China hands, and for that, over 250,000 Chinese were killed in retaliation by Japanese Troops.
