I agree with the second part, not the first. The Old Testament is key to understanding Creation, God's nature, his love for Israel, and coming of and fulfillment of his Son's sacrifice through The Feasts. These are the Holy Days. Without these, one is simply celebrating pagan holidays.

The jews said they could 'keep God's Law' but only the sinless God man Jesus could, did, and fulfilled the Law.

We live in the New Covenant of Grace. We have direct access to God, the veil was torn and there is no need for any intermediary. We can now have a personal relationship with our heavenly Father. Jesus was the final and complete sacrifice that fullfilled the requirements of the Law. Jesus died to institute the New Covenant. He does not desire for people to be under the burden of the law. He said his burden is light. All God requires is belief in Jesus and all He accomplished. It is an easy "yoke," just acknowledge your need to be saved, accept the total forgiveness offered, your total debt paid, and then do the only "work" necessary; that is to believe. 😇
