Too many parents ignore these dangers. My grandsons were sent daily to a magic cards gaming room in a shopping center to remain there playing cards all day. Their parents believed the store employees were watching out for their children. I don’t know if anything bad ever happened, but that’s a situation without guardrails. Yesterday a little girl was taken in a shopping mall because her patents didn’t notice she had wandered away from a “play area” where kids are left to their own devices. We haven’t taken good enough care of these precious God given babies.
You're so right! The old days are gone. Every child needs proper protection! So many are asleep to the current evils surrounding their children.

IMO no young children should have access to a phone of their own. Today parents give phones to elementary aged children. Many use phones as "babysitters." Older children in high school should only have restricted devices and careful daily review by parents. Facebook (Fakebook) is a predators dream. Photos of kids in vulnerable places, where they are on vacation, photos of their school, the playgrounds, etc. Social media has IMO contributed to the increase in child exploitation. The bad guys know how to utilize facial recognition and know how to track these vulnerable kids. 😟
