My Mama died last August at her 100th year birthday. She held on as long as her little body would let her. She no longer needs money or protection because the Angels carried her up from her bed to Heaven as we watched. But yes, there are so many who are still hanging on for the transition. I pray that the proverbial carrot stops moving to another mark and that the real transition starts now. Many like me are hanging on from SSA check month to month. I spent decades working 2-to 3 jobs just to keep a roof over our heads. Thankfully, now my children are helping to pay my expenses.
Optimistically American unapolgetic, no narrative, love truth.

You are so right Kat. My 85 year old mother worked her entire life for the mere pittance that she receives a month. I'm living paycheck to paycheck and helping my family out when they need it. Too many people are hurting. We need the med beds, and the money that they stole from us and then we can live the way we were meant to. I'm not talking a big mansion or anything like that, but actually having my huge garden, doing things that I said I would do when I retired. But at this rate, I can't retire and will be working til I drop dead. Hopefully, this will happen before that happens, praise Jesus
