BREAKING - President Trump is now stating that due to the massive amount of money coming in thanks to tariffs on countries, he plans to give it back to United States citizens in the form of a rebate.

This is how Tarrifs really work.
The US consumer pays the tarrif upon purchasing the product..
The country selling the product doesn't pay.
Sure he can abolish income tax as it has taken on a new form.
The us consumer is paying a higher tax (tarrif) on the foreign product.
The money goes to the treasury.
Not a bad idea to promote (made in America)
A good idea in fact.
But let's call it, and understand it.
A tarrif is a tax on the US consumer.
Not the seller, but the buyer.
If you are paying tariffs and income tax (which has been deemed voluntary by SCOTUS)
Illegal to enforce it as mandatory tax.

Watch the balances and keep DJT honest.
He has great potential, but is still a business man.
All a Tarrif does is hurt sales from foreign countries.
We should be producing our own things as a country.
But Made in America.
That's the bottom line.

I believe that is why Trump is encouraging companies to come to America to produce their products. As more Americans work for these companies especially those providing good wages, this gives more Americans some discretionary spending ability. This makes the economy boom, which in turn encourages more companies to relocate production facilities to America. The people will start buying the less expensive made in America products. In the long range this seems to me to be a win-win plan. 😇

Unfortunately in Canada, the US is still taking our oil at a reduced rate.
Funding campaigns and road blocking us getting our oil to world market.
The reason gas and diesel is so cheap in the US is because you refine it from mainly Canadian heavy crude.
The US does t have any heavy crude of its own, so the majority of your fuel comes from Canada.
I believe 100% of us natural gas also comes from Canada.
35% of the Eastern seaboard of the United States I'd powered by Canadian electricity.

The majority of the coins coal (metalurgical) required to manufacture steel and pipe comes from Canada.
The majority of aluminum comes from Canada.

We aren't getting a very good deal from the US up here at all.
That makes me sad.
