The UFT, leftist teachers, local and state democrats, brain washed students and clueless parents will cheer for this in New York. I'm sure Zohran is ready to jump in with a suggested "Communist Curriculum." The Muslim Brotherhood will fund NY schools.
Yes, this is just a start. Some states will continue to keep the power over education in the wrong hands.
