Bug bites, spider bites, the itching can drive one insane lol. Have to share: have tried cortisone, and all kinds of stuff that didn't help one iota. The one thing that did help was to put a spot of OraJel on it and it stopped immediately, and went away quicker than anything else. Last yr, I also used it for itch when I had shingles, which also worked. Amazing that simple toothache numbing stuff could work so well!
Thanks for the tip! I am recovering from a yellow jacket attack. I am allergic, but was able to avoid the hospital. I will try the OraJel for the other critters and leaves.
Oh my! Yellow jackets are nasty! Glad you were able to avoid ER.
I think I overdosed on Benadryl, but it saved me. Probably should have gone to the ER. Live and learn.
