I am all for people being bi or multi- lingual. Speaking more than 1 language is a good thing. I also believe people should learn the language of the country they immigrate to.
Until recently, March 1 2025, the US did not have an official language. Now we do.
The irony is that we have too many Americans who can't speak or write a proper sentence in English much less learn more than 1 language.
