They try to scare you by saying that sun exposure causes skin cancer.

There's no proof of that whatsoever.

They want you to stay out of the sun because they know that exposure to it helps produce Vitamin D within your body, which is necessary for good health.

They only make money off of sick people, not healthy people.

I'm guessing they're in the lotions at tanning bed salons also, thus the demonization of the tanning beds.
