I have 3 of my own. My youngest a Rottweiler has only had his first shots and a rabies shot. I'm refusing the rest. A holistic vet I have says those rabies shots are the same dosage for a dog your dog's size and my 130 lb Rottweiler. That rabies shot will be good for 5 years so or the yearly shots.
They want your dog sick because they need your money

My dogs eat raw, ZERO chemicals in my house and yard. Filtered clean water and i add MMS drops to water. HEPA air filter in home. I live as clean as possible and use cleansing supplements and build immune system that way. so once this dog is done with this...we wont do anything till her 3 yr rabies is due. AT 10 yrs of age, I stop all vaccines....period and then i fight like hell to find a vet that isnt pushing anything. I have a vet that is allowing exemptions on my seniors...but doubt she will on my young ones. i just pay more for medical to see that vet.

Actually by law..first rabies is only a one yr..the next yr you can get a 3 yr rabies. No such thing as a 5 yr. Now according to studies..immunity lasts around 5-7 yrs and can last up to a lifetime. thats why you titer. BUT you cannot titer for Rabies and city accept it. maybe in rare cases of good cities..but most likely not. they will NOT spay her without being fully vaccinated. No holistic vets in my area..at all. Have searched out all of them.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I don't live in a city . I live on a horse ranch in Florida. We can also buy rabies shots for our animals in tractor supply stores..
