So had a group campout already planned when my f150 (which I was going to be forced to take since the van tranny was acting funny) developed a leaky rear hub seal and went in the shop. So THEN pulled my unregistered Ranger out of the shed, slap my Van plates on it and off I go. F150 and van are both on my insurance policy however Ranger is not. I haven't been sure if I was going to keep it so haven't done much with it since it was left to me.
Trip went well until it got dark on way home and I was pulled over because *tail lights* weren't working. Had turn and brake lights .. no RUNNING lights! Explaining all the headlight flashing in my rear view I had been noticing .. ;)) Hadn't ever driven it at night and got to the campout while daylight .. 'who knew'.

So (I think it was sheriff dept) took my license and went back to his cruiser as I hoped he wouldn't run the plates (haha). Eventually he returns and says plates ran back to a van and I told him my tale'o'mechanical'woa (to which he actually laughed and said 'yea I've been there') and he returns to the cruiser. At that point wondering how many tickets I'm going to get he eventually returns, hands me my license and tells me to be careful the rest the way home.
God is SO GOOD!!
