Lenin was dead wrong - a LIE is a LIE is a LIE. Lies are so easily spoken and the person who is lying can fool themself into believe their own lies. That does not change the lie - it only perpetuates it to the LIAR. It is written in (ALL LIARS) Revelations 21:
"The cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and ALL LIARS—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur."
