Kids love animals, and their eyes light up when someone mentions HORSES 😄.
They love learning and helping, too. What better place than a ranch with so many different types of chores!
Little things are amazing to them, like planting a seed and watching it grow into food 🌽🥦🍅🥒🥕🫑.
The world is full of wonder through a child's eyes 🤩✨

💯 Kitty! When I was a younger Fella, I was a Wrangler & taught kids how to ride. Especially rewarding was working with kids who had SEVERE deformities & injuries, some with burn scars over big parts of their bodies. (Can't wait for Medbeds to roll out, burns are horrific.) Some of those kids could barely walk...but still, put 'Em on a horse! 🐎 Faces lit up with ear to ear grins & all that handicap went away. To control an animal so big, ride around in a ring. To trot, to canter. Life changing in an instant. 😃 Took 'Em horse-camping, fire-pit cookout, and those kids would actually argue over who'd collect fire wood, crutches & all.

When I was a boy my friends & I would play "Capture the Flag" on horseback. What a ruckus. Pullin' each other's bridals off at a run. No holds barred! Those were the days.
A good riding ring filled with tons of sand sure makes for softer landings. 🤣

When the first convenience store came to area, rode my horse to it. Tied it up by the door.
