It doesn't mean what you think it means other than in the sense we are made in God's 'image'. We will never be 'gods' in our OWN right independent of the one and only sovereign Creator of all and everything.

I'm sorry but I'm going defend God's Word whenever I see it being misused.
You promote many occult new age ideas and principles that directly contradict God's Word.
Which is fine .. believe what you will.
But I don't understand why people always feel they have to ennoble such ideas by trying to prop them up with cherry picked Bible verses.
Let them stand on their own truth if there be any.

But you didn't include the rest of the passage Jesus was quoting (as most people rarely do) that put that 'god' idea in it's proper perspective.
