I hope & pray for the day when America stops putting their parents in nursing homes (I don't call them anything else - abandoned IMO) and makes it a priority to care of our Elders again, as a duty and thanks for all they did for us.

I quit my job and took my Mom home from a nursing home. She was recovering from a leg amputation. She also had a colostomy bag. She lived with me a year until she stopped eating and drinking. She was 80. I am so happy God gave me that time with her. I miss her every day!
