What is a smart city - A smart city is a city that uses digital technology to improve services and quality of life for its residents. Smart cities use data collected from sensors, devices, and other sources to optimize city functions. How smart cities work.
Data collection: Smart cities collect data from citizens, buildings, devices, and cameras.
Data analysis: Smart cities use data to monitor, analyze, plan, and govern the city.
Technology integration: Smart cities integrate technology across sectors like transportation, healthcare, and education.

In other words, smart cities do not want people who can think for themselves, make rational decisions without their input, contribute to their own family and the community around them. Just to say a few reasons why I would NEVER want to be in a "smart city". For sure there are millions of people who long for this. My caution is - be careful what you wish(pray) for.

A smart city is a city that uses digital technology to monitor residents' every activity.
