Keep in mind, depending on the brand, some caster oils have heavy metals in them. for example, Walmart cheap China made Caster Oil I have heard.

I have used castor oil for massaging into my feet to help with my plantar fascitis. It certainly did help to massage the plantar facia. I use it if I have sore muscles or joints to massage the area. I find it helps and I can avoid taking Ibuprofen. I buy organic castor oil from a local health food store. I also use it on my nails and hands to keep my hands and nails moist especially in winter. 😇
