Also Ukraine was known for the many "orphanages" it ran. Celebrities would "adopt" children and babies from these "orphanages." A church I used to attend had a mission team that would go to these "orphanages" to bring supplies, and work with the staffers. I now wonder if some churches knowingly or unknowingly were collecting money that went to child traffickers or worse. 🤔
Carol, I know about the evil there.
My niece adopted 4 Ukrainian children, ages 2-6.
She wrote a beautiful book about her journey of becoming a Mom to them.
As I read it, I cried almost every page because it was totally about God's love.
I am grateful she followed God and did so much good.
I don't think my nieces' side of the family know anything of the evil there. I tried at one point to say something about Ukraine and Russia but was immediately shut down.
Ironically, they know everything because they follow the Bible, but they are the most unknowing people I know!
And it's people like my niece who might lose it when the truth is revealed.
The truth shall set us free and it's like the memes say:
When the truth is revealed, run to a conspiracy theorist.
I'm here for them.
