It was, I believe a payout for playing the part of the Obamas "daughters." A deal was made between their parents and the Obamas to "borrow" the girls in order to further the deception of being an "all American" black family to help BO get elected. I believe part of the deal was that BO and Mike would provide the girls college educations, plus of course payment for their acting as well. 🙄
