This is the time of the great loss of friends and family . Today my" best and lifelong friend " was visiting and I heard that he hates Elon and Trump immensely .... he calls them pigs. This is no longer good, and during the long walk we did not talk about anything ... silence. This is how it goes with many friends and relatives. I have to get used to it and do my best to give it a place in my life. How do you guys deal with this?

Out of respect for myself I have put up firm boundaries with these people. They can’t have me in their lives if they limit what I can talk about, or if we can’t have civilized discourse.
