My wife's draw from the holster and hit the target center mass is 0.6 seconds.
She can beat a fella pointing a loaded gun at her.
Takes about 1.5 seconds for an attacker to change his mind from threatening someone to actually pulling the trigger.
When I used to compete as a teenager,
THE ONLY shooters who EVER beat me were
Gals.
Women don't have the stupid ego and therefore really listen to their Firearms Instructors,

No one should draw their weapon to just intimidate or threaten, let alone fire a warning shot.
When that weapon is drawn, always 100% fully under control, it must be with RESOLVE to stop the threat COLD.
A "warning shot" literally violates the principles of firearm safety, anyways, possibly resulting in the injury of an innocent bystander.
Many years ago, a business associate was attacked by an armed robber/burglar at night. He only had time to get his 1911 Colt .45 in his left hand and he shot the attacker 7 times before the attack stopped. He is a right handed shooter. The attacker was hyped up on amphetamines & LIVED.
He had only one round left. What if he had wasted them?
Gun owners are 100% responsible for every bullet fired until it stops.
