I once had a Shepherd-Lab mix and boy she was a fierce defender. Pinned a meter-reader fella who jumped my fence up against the fence for 3 hours, wouldn't let him move 'till I got home. Guy was white as a ghost. 😂 I was like, "What in the world possessed you to jump my fence, dude?"
He was unharmed and paid by the hour so no harm done.
