As long as everyone contributes to the tribal compound - great...
But you know, there will be that one family, that will start out great guns, then, fade, until everyone else is carrying them... they always have excuses and rationales for their attitude.
We must have the power to expell those that do not contribute, who whine over every damned thing, malinger and sew division in the compound.
If we all achieve higher consciousness, this will be a moot point... but, until then, we have to deal on this plane, with these human failings...
I guess I am the hermit type now.
I used to be gregarious, enjoy crowds, enjoy people around me. Not any more, not even family - other than hubs.
I cannot unsee, unlearn what I have experienced over the last 8/9 years.
Sounds like a perfect life.

Yes absolutely! This is a dream come true this is what would be fantastic for American families it would bring back hope and bring back the real way of life people homesteading people getting closer and having communication not so much City and entertainment and all of the things that go with being a part of multimedia, and and material things we need to get our eyes off of material things and back on raising good humans again and being families Amen to this posting

Most people would find living in a rural setting boring.
Must be able to cook because there aren't a lot of good restaraunts in rural areas.
Means one must also not mind doing dishes. A lot of them daily.
Hard to find high quality theater or musical entertainment.
Shopping is limited.
Social opportunities are limited
I live in the middle of farm land now. And am real glad I am not in a city.
However, I loved living in the city when I did.
Had a great social life. Could have been out with people every day if I had wanted to. I did socialuzes 2-3 times a week though.
Things changed with the covid scam. Now, I rarely am around people. Spend a lot of time outside walking the dogs.
Would love to be around like minded people working together to create community. It sounds like a good idea.
