In the movie 'The Matrix' the Oracle is AI.
The reference is to AI, not a computer. Weak or Strong AI has not been achieveable as we are still using symbolic programming. No AI has been able to pass the Turing Test. To make pronoucements as you are implying the following assumptions must be true:
1. We have reached Quantum Supremacy.
2. Quantum Computers, regardless of qubits, entanglement, & superposition are STILL more prone to error than regular computers due to decoherence. For AI on this platform we would have solved this problem. NO COMPUTER can duplicate the biochemistry of the human brain, which is required for sentience.
Thank you Paul. AI is always hyped by those who know nothing about it but believe AI has omnicient qualities. I think some just love to be scared by the unknown. Pass the Turing test first.
