We are only a few days until Jan 20. Wonder if there might be something along the lines of a ff happening in San Antonio, Texas. Blue city, a quietly sanctuary city, near as I can tell, and several military bases.
I attended pharmacy school at
Fort Sam Houston,
back in the 1980’s.
It is now a joint
training facility with Air Force.
We had Coast Guard and
SF from
Fort Bragg also trained in
medical rotations.
The base has changed dramatically
when I was there ten years back.
We should discuss the
Catholic Church close to the Alamo.
There are caverns.
Natural Bridge Caverns floods
in bad rains.
No Name Caverns is not too far.
My first sweetheart was
7th Group Special Forces.
I had incredible access as an
active duty young enlisted soldier.
We stayed with the mayor of
Shavano Park.
At one point we took the drive to see
Carlsbad Caverns.
Back then, as a film photographer,
this is where Ansel Adams
captured black and white
film images in 1942.
My husband and I
enjoyed Carlsbad back in 2014.
The land is flat, then a
huge hole appears….
There is an elevator system that
takes people down.
My cousin is
Army Corps of Engineer in Texas.
Perhaps she could

our training there has
different identification sign now.
The old WW2 Barracks we stayed in for
91B training are gone now.
