Your not wrong not that I'm a fan of CPS . Like a lot of people I have seen this in a close relatives situation.
No child comes with a handbook. New parents often make mistakes sometimes it's a mistake pure and simple.
there's also circumstances that arise, like severe neglect or abuse that has to be addressed.
I think the whole thing needs to be revamped.
I don't know what that actually would looks like but we have to figure out something to protect the children ..
What I'm trying to say is, it's just not that simple...
