Been seein' those right over my ranch for years, sometimes every other night, although not so much in just the past 3 weeks. Usually right where I'm a lookin', and just barely above the treetops or roofs. Once just above my truck while I was driving a rural highway - wife saw that one, too.
Ain't no shootin' stars, that's for sure. Look more like bright flares shot outta nowhere.
