I’m so sorry that happened to you, I saw your post last week, and have been praying for you daily.I’m afraid we could be next I haven’t paid our local taxes in 2 years, neither did my son and they garnished his wages. I’m sure they will take it out of our taxes come tax time. Husband works for himself hurt his back Nov 1st hasn’t been able to work since we live off checks is been hard. Were broke as well. I was able to keep us a float last month selling some candles but January’s coming fast. I will keep you James in my prayers🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🌻
Thank you that's very thoughtful. If you guys are really struggling and your husband just injured his back you might want to apply for disability. I don't know how old he is either but you can retire as early as 62. Even though you retire you can still work to make additional funds doing an early retirement sure helps. 🙏🏻🤍

He’s 55 had a major accident a few years ago fell 23ft from a sky light into an empty inground pool. Shattered his scull had blood on brain,and spine. We have tried for years to get disability for him and have always been turned down. So he just picks himself back up and goes to work, getting harder and harder with him in the construction field.
I'm in the construction field too and I know that's horrible there's always a chance and risk of a serious injury. Does he have any construction insurance?. Have you physically tried to go into and SSI building for help somewhere in your local town?
I know at some point I will not be able to continue to do the work myself but I will hire a crew to do the work. The most successful contractors don't actually do the work they just organize and put guys to work.
